Student status termination

Pursuant to the Law on Higher Education of the Republic of Serbia (RS Official Gazette 76/05), the student status is terminated in case of the following:

  1. Disenrollment from the studies.
  2. Completion of studies.
  3. Failure to enrol in the academic year.
  4. Failure to complete the studies until the expiry of the deadline defined as double the number of academic years needed to complete the study program, as follows:
  • two academic years if the Study program lasts for one academic year;
  • three academic years if the Study program lasts for one and a half academic years;
  • four academic years if the Study program lasts for two years;
  • six academic years if the Study program lasts for three years;
  • ten academic years if the Study program lasts for five years.

5. Undertaking the disciplinary measure of expulsion from studies at the higher education institution.

Studies under former study program enrolled prior to 2006: Pursuant to the Law on Amendments to the Law on Higher Education of the Republic of Serbia (RS Official Gazette 44/10), candidates who applied to register their doctoral dissertation prior to this Law coming into force may acquire the professional title of Doctor in Pharmaceutical Sciences by successfully presenting their doctoral dissertation in line with the regulations in effect prior to the coming into force of the Law on Higher Education by the end of academic year 2015/2016 at the latest.
