Ana Homšek was born in 1994 in Belgrade, where she finished elementary school and the Sixth Belgrade High School. She enrolled in integrated academic studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade in 2012/2013. Since 2013, she received a scholarship of the city of Belgrade. During her studies, she participated in the preparation of two scientific research papers within the Center for Scientific Research Work of Students at the Faculty of Pharmacy. She completed the integrated academic studies, study program Pharmacy, in 2017 with an average grade of 9.45 and the final paper "Comparison of computer programs for the resolution parameter in the monograph of the European Pharmacopoeia for the method of derivative spectrophotometry". In September of 2017 she was in Spain at the University of Miguel Hernandez, where she joined a multidisciplinary team that examined the stability of creams and gels after the incorporation of plant extracts. During 2017 and 2018, she completed her internship in the pharmacy Romania, Pharmacy Belgrade and the hospital pharmacy of the Clinical Hospital Center “Zvezdara”. She enrolled in the first year of doctoral academic studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade, in 2017/2018, module Pharmacokinetics and Clinical Pharmacy. She has been employed at the Department of Pharmacokinetics and Clinical Pharmacy since October 2019, where she participates in the preparation and implementation of undergraduate practical classes in Pharmacokinetics, Clinical Pharmacy and Selected Chapters of Clinical Pharmacokinetics. She was involved in the national project entitled "Experimental and Clinical Pharmacological Investigations of Mechanisms of Drug Action and Interactions in Nervous and Cardiovascular System". She completed the postgraduate academic specialization in Pharmaceutical Health Care at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade in 2020. So far, she has published several papers and statements at international congresses.
