Mira Zečević started her professional career as an assistant-researcher at Faculty of Pharmacy, University Belgrade, Serbia (1987), at Department of pharmaceutical chemistry. After successful research career she obtained M.Sc. degree (1992), and PhD (1998) in pharmaceutical chemistry at Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade. She is a specialist in Drug Analysis and Quality Control (2002) and specialist of pharmacy in fild of drug release (2014). In 2010  she become full  professor. Mira Zečević has been a  participant more than one of the scientific project that are financed by the Ministry of Sciences of the Republic of Serbia. For the scientific results she was awarded by Ministry of Sciences of the Republic of Serbia 2004 and in that time she was an active member of the New York Academy of Sciences. She is an active member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Serbia and Section for Drug Analysis and Quality Control since 1998. She has been vice dean for postgraduate study and continuous education on Faculty of pharmacy University of Belgarde from 2006 to 2012 As a vice dean a participant on the TEMPUS project „Postgraduate Qualification in Pharmacy - The Way Forward” (2010 – 2012). financed by EU. Project coordinator Faculty of Pharmacy University of Belgrade.As a part of her activities of Tempus project it is established two years specialistical study program Drug release on the market on whose she is leader from 2013 till now. She was also the leader of a professional specializationDrug Analysis and Quality Control in the period  from 2013 - 2020 Head of the first GMP certified drug control laboratory at the Faculty of pharmacy in the period from 2015 - 2021 From 2013 she is head od Department od Drug Analysis. She published more than 155 scientific and professional articles. She has 700 citations without self-citations and h-index of 17.
